Longitudinal (Corridor) Studies

Longitudinal studies generally intersect a great variety of geological terrains. Planning such studies can pose a challenge as a result, because sampling designs need to be adjusted in order to locate quarries or test for specific types of sites. Sampling designs should be developed as early as possible in the investigation in order to maximize project flexibility as well as introduce other aspects of mitigation, including avoidance.

Our ability to construct predictive models for both the distribution of prehistoric quarries and non-quarry sites will give you the information you need to optimize your investigation with maximum cost effectiveness. Email us early for best results; however, if your project is already underway and you need help getting back on track, we would still be happy to assist you.
